I am completely blown away by the work of Ukrainian sand artist Kseniya Simonova. Using a giant lightbox and sand, Kseniya told the story of Germany's invasion and occupation of Ukraine during WWII and won Ukraine's version of "Britain's Got Talent."



I came across her work before. The level of detail she gets in her creations is absolutely amazing. And she seems to accomplish so much with just a few quick strokes. Part of me also loves how temporary it all is...

it's kind of like seeing a real life transforming "guernica" isn't it? amazing.
