Happy Monday! How was your weekend? I'm happy to say that I found the time to venture in the city to celebrate a close friends birthday! As after any city visit, I always seem to question why I decided to remove myself from the hustle and bustle that the city offers and decided to move back to suburbia! It's then I think to myself... "no small city apartment could ever pull-off a children's room like this!"
I am starting to fall in love with this new pinwheel trend that seems to be catching on! In fact, this fascination is what led me to a new blog "crush," The Sweetest Occasion! I thought we should start the morning off with a find that is guarantee to put a smile on your face... Diane Birch's Valentino has quickly become one of my new favorite songs (and the video will most certainly be making it to my Top 10 "All Time Favorite Music Videos" list).
While growing up, I always wanted to be named Shelia (I even went as far as introducing myself by this name on the first day of 3rd grade, let's just say the teacher was not amused and it turned out to be a very long year). Anyway, never had I wished for my name to be Barbie. Boy, did I have my priorities all wrong!
It's a known fact that if you were to visit my home tomorrow, you would be offer one of two beverages: a glass of mint tea or an ice cold water. Soda is never an option!
