I've been searching for the perfect non-tradition Halloween custume, but sadly have yet to find my inspiration. However, that all changed when I came across these very sexy interpretation of traditional Chinese paper cutting from Luna & Curious. Since spotting these eyelashes, my head has been buzzing with different ideas... safari inspired custume with a bit of zebra flare, I think so!?
Almost Friday... boy does it feel good to be saying that! Over the last week, dark clouds and dreary skies have been looming over New England, but the high hopes of a sunny weekend seem to be what has been keeping me afloat! Well, that and the RL Gang!
Ralph Lauren Childrens' Fall 2010 Look-book is one of my favorites! Not only because of the adorable clothes combinations, but because of the stories they represent. RL has taken their line and created a reality with a group of very well dressed youth, AKA the RL Gang. Hop on over to their website to shop directly from the animated storybook or the interactive closet of River, Zoe, and the other five stylist members! You won't regret it :)

I love shoes! I mean really really love shoes! High heels, flats, rain-boots... I love them all and I buy them all! It is this love that has blinded me from my impact on environmental waste. It never crossed my mind that, not only with each purchase do I own a fabulous pair of shoes, but I own a mound of waste products!! That was until I came across this collaboration between Yves Behar/Fuse Project and PUMA. The project 'bye bye shoebox, hello clever little bag', rethinks the design of the traditional shoe box - how to fold, ship and reduce their environmental impact. The conclusion? Get rid of the box.
Found over at design boom, the "structure of the packing is a cardboard sheet and a bag, reducing the standard amount of cardboard used for a standard shoe box by 65%. The new design solution has no laminated printing or tissue paper,and takes up less space and weighs less in shipping,completely replacing the plastic retail bag. The recyclable bag is non-woven, which means there is less work and waste in its production, with stitching completed through heat."
