{A special thanks to the inspiration found over at Boy Wonder}
When I come across shots like these, from Massucco Warner Miller, I start to feel a little guilt and soon realize my out-dated white walls and home furnishings are in total need of a revamp!
Lonny magazine recently launched their new website and its fabulous! To celebrate this new found source of inspiration, I thought I would share
some of my favorite room designs found in the decorate section... I am really loving the nautical theme! What are some of your favorites?
I know earlier this week I posted some fun layout ideas from Serena & Lily, but when this adorable donkey hit my in-box I couldn't help to share a sneak peak of there Fall catalog.
Loving this nursery posted by the author of Life in the Fun Lane! Young daughter Wren is one lucky toddler and thanks to her DIY parents, will for sure have an eye for design.
There is something about the dreary rain that sparks my creativity! As soon as the first drop falls from the sky, that was once a beautiful shade of blue, I'm in 'go' mode! So needless to say with the hurricane approaching, I find myself with tons of creative energy and a chic find to share... these inspirational mood boards from Serena & Lily have me giddy like a school girl and are complete appropriate for today's post!
Well, we haven't even broken ground (let alone finalized the sale) on the land that I will soon be calling home and I'm already on the hunt to find furniture to fill the space! I've been flipping through magazines and surfing the web, to only find what I was looking for in the most unexpected way! During a casual meeting with my publisher, a small sliver of the Young America catalog catch my eye and I couldn't resist, but to sneak a peak. What I found inside was absolutely fabulous... I have always been a sucker for daybeds and this Hampton-inspired piece of furniture is no exception!
Ladies and gents, it's a whole new day at IKEA! This fresh collection, styled by Lo Bjurulf, strays away from their traditional Scandinavian style and explores the world of "rustic eclecticism". Anthropologie watch out, you may be in a run for your money...
Now, who thinks of turning an old YMCA men's locker room into the ultimate bachlorett pad? Cindy Gallop, that's who! I came across Cindy's Black Apartment, viaNot Your Average Ordinary, and all I can say is this women has some serious style, for the following reasons:
1) She is a "Gucci Goddess!" Not only does she have has a Gucci chainsaw (Where do you even find a Gucci chainsaw?!), but she has a real gold-dipped Gucci alligator!
2) Her shoe collection should be declared a national monument! Made up of shoes I can only dream of, it lines an entire wall of her apartment! Too cool!
3) She is working the black leather! Not only seen in her apartment, but seen in her wardrobe! Anyone who can rock the black leather and get away with it, is OK in my book!
